What Is Full Bleed Printing? If you’re new to the world of print, then you may not understand what full bleed printing is. To prevent your printed product from having unsightly white lines around the border, you must set your document up with bleeds. Bleed refers to an extra 1/8” (.125 in) of image or background color that extends beyond the trim area of your printing piece. The project is printed on an oversized sheet that is then cut down to size with the appearance that the image is “bleeding” off the edge of the paper.. It is best practice to set up your bleeds at the very beginning of your project so you don’t have to adjust at the end. There are a few extra terms you must understand along with bleed are trim, safety, and borders. Trim Line: The final size of the document after the last cut is made Safety: The safe area or inner margin in which to keep all important elements (such as logos and page numbers) within to prevent them from being trimmed off. This margin should be at least 1/8” inside the edge of the trim line. Borders: All Framed Borders must be at least ¼” from the trim line or 3/8” from the bleed line. Shipping & Returns Shipping Policy We want you to get your product as soon as possible. Here’s a breakdown of your shipping options, calculated from the day your order is ready for shipping. Some BPRINTING.SHOP products and destinations are not available in all shipping speeds. If your order includes products with different shipping speeds, it can be split into separate packages. This avoids delaying products that you can receive sooner. Got more questions Money Back Satisfaction Policy We offer a Money Back Satisfaction Policy to our first-time retail customers or first time issues for orders with a subtotal up to $100. If you are not entirely satisfied with the finished printed product, you can send it back to us for a full refund of the printing cost only. BPRINTING.SHOP will only correct errors of improper cutting, print quality, color, print shift, typographical errors from our end and/or printing delays to ensure that you are satisfied with your final product. Due to the nature of our full-color printing (CMYK), we cannot print every color available. We do not color match; however, we offer the print industry's standard phrase of respectable color and will make every rational effort to print your product as close to the colors you have provided as possible. This Money Back Satisfaction Policy will not be applied on issues with art sent to us by the customer, such as spelling, content, file layout, and the customer will assume all responsibility for typographical errors. Once the order is approved and paid, a reprocessing fee will apply if the customer wants to change or edit their files. Once the order is in print, changes cannot be made. If any issue should arise, please send us an E-mail with subject title “There is an issue with my order”. Please provide as much detail as possible, and one of our representatives will respond within 1-2 business days for assistance.
